Teaching
Philosophy
I focus on the player’s needs. I start my lessons off with an interview
to understand why the golfer is here for a lesson. My teaching is dependant
on the learning style, goals, physical capabilities, and practice time.
I also take a look at what clubs are in the bag, checking for anything
that might hinder the golfer’s playability.
Teaching
Style – The KISS Method
I cater to fit the golfer’s personality. It does not matter what
I know, if I can not communicate it in a way that you understand. Whether
the student is a male, female or a child I will adjust to their teaching
style. I also change my style depending on whether the golfer learns
visually, verbally, or kinesthetically. I teach with passion and integrity,
and my plan with all my students is to teach them to coach themselves;
therefore, after every lesson the student is able to recognize what he/she
is doing right or wrong and remove frustration.
